About the SPTBiD Program
The SPTBiD Program (Sariah Program & Dyslexia Intensive Guidance Technique) is a structured literacy program that provides organized instruction for people with dyslexia and monitoring of dyslexic students. This program was developed, created and copyrighted by Puan Sariah Binti Amirin AMW PPN, known as the “Mother of Dyslexia Malaysia” together with Jaldeen Bin Mohd Ali, a Dyslexia specialist, assessor and founder of Dyslexia Genius Malaysia in early 1998.
Through the SPTBiD program for 3 to 9 months, dyslexics are trained and taught to overcome their difficulties by using the strengths they have, to be ready to face normal public school teaching. Students will be encouraged to learn the basics of reading, compiling and spelling words with the help of teaching materials in the form of stories and responsive pictures so that they can more easily understand them through their visual power.
